Microsoft Windows Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. I ran the command, and verified, but was still not able to connect to the router page, here is the command prompt for the session: When I ping the 192.168.1.1 address however I am told that the destination host is unreachable, could this play a part in not being able to connect to the router website? If so how can I fix it Even without the ethernet 0 port being set to the static IP but rather the ethernet adapter on the laptop entirely I am getting a ping from it. Could this be a problem is setting up the connection? All of the guides I've looked at have told me to set the Ethernet 0 adapter to the static IP, and confirm it's set by running a ping on the static IP to make sure the Ethernet 0 port is transmitting. I'm using a laptop so I can't locate the ethernet 0 port to put in the static IP address.

I ran an ipconfig in the command prompt and it shows the ipv4 address as the set 192.168.1.10 address. I understand that from there you have to change the ip address of the computer to a static address, mine is 192.168.1.10 and then navigate to the router website which is 192.168.1.1 my issue comes into play here because I can't load the page. I understand that initially the router has to be plugged in and powered on, and an Ethernet connection must be run from the Ethernet 0 port to the computer, and from the Ethernet 4 point to the access point. I'm setting up an edgerouter x and utiquity access point and am having issues matching the steps of most guides. Hi everyone, I'll try to be brief with this.
